Last semester I supervised this interesting project:
Drone-based recording of stock levels with the assistance of Image classification

This study aims to develop a prototype for using a #drone to perform inventory quantification. The prototype involves writing a python-tool that allows the drone to be flown manually and evaluating images from the drone’s video stream to detect and count objects. The prototype is tested in a laboratory setting and shows positive results, but is sensitive to the conditions under which it is tested and can be impacted by various factors, including the positioning of the camera on the drone.
